Yoga and Meditation

Since the ancient times the Himalayas have been the potential destinations for the Yogis and Rishis to perform yogic exercises, meditation and understanding the dynamics of nature. Beyond the hassles and bassles of the cities to create an environment of the secluded Himalayas, we have built Yoga and Meditation rooms in the Hotel.

Tower Hill

Tower Hill

One of the highest peak (7500 ft) of the area is the Tower Hill, where some tall telecom towers are embellishing the scenic beauty of the area as the Crown of Nihri. One of the hotspots, i.e. Shural is located exactly at the place. A Temple and Pond of local god Dev Bala Tikka, who is supposed to be the son of Dev Kamaru Nag (Warrior of Mahabharata), is also located nearby. The temple has been build a number of times and the style (Architect) of the temple is Kathkuna type (wood and stone) with two rooms and double-roof, which is known as Pahari Shaili. The idol of god is like a Vedic Rishi standing with Kamandal. There is no evidence about the antiquity of the idol.
The other side of hill is covered with dense forest of tall and beautiful pine trees. There are also some sites nearby, which are being developed by Himachal Tourism Development Corporation.

Mashishar Dhar

The next highest peak (7000 ft) of the area is the Mashishar Dhar (Hill), fully covered with dense forest of pine trees, which is just 2Kms away from the Hotel. One of the hotspots, i.e. Shural is also located near the place. A beautiful Temple of god Dev Mashishar, who is supposed to be instituted at this hill around 300 years back, is recently renovated. The temple has been build a number of times and the architect is Pahari Shaili.

The hill is located about 12 Kms from the Hotel, out of which 6 Kms is by road and 6Kms is on trekking. The god is also known as the Bada Dev, i.e. the principal god of erstwhile princely state Mandi. There is a beautiful wooden temple of god and a big lake in front of, where is thought to be the biggest hidden treasure of gold, silver and coins. The lake is full of mysteries in many ways.
